A Club member provides a prospective member with introductory packet of information about The Woman's Club.

A prospective member must be age 23 or over who has resided for one year within 50 miles of the Capitol Square in the City of Richmond.

The membership application requires one proposer and two sponsors, who have been a member for one year and have known candidate for one year.

After an application is received by the office it is read at the next Board meeting. Board meetings occur the first Thursday of every month, September through May. The candidate is voted on and admitted by the Board of Governors.

Upon election to membership by the Board of Governors, a new member is notified in writing of her admission.
