The auditorium was renovated in the Beaux-Arts style appropriate to the period.  The pompeiian red wallpaper features popular greek decorative patterns, including the anthemion, a stylized floral design which is also the pre-eminent motif bordering the elaborate iron fence in front of the House.

In the upper wall panels are medallions depicting the four basic classical elements of nature – earth, water, fire, and wind.  Note also the hand-painted faux-marble wainscoting that was recently restored and the columns along with the extraordinary set of hand-painted window shades depicting Greek urns and vases filled with flowers indigenous to Virginia.  Stylized branches of palm complete the design.
